Need more info: The one thing I can say right now is that a creatinine of 3.57 does show kidney failure of some kind, at the time the lab was drawn. If your doctor hasn't already talked with your father about what's going on, it's time to go get an appointment and discuss what else was happening at the time of this test, what the plan is to check things out and treat them. Please make that appointment soon.

High Creat: That is a high level. He has apparent Renal isuffieciency at the least and is at risk for possible failure, but that is purely based on a number you have provided over the computer. He need to have a full evaluation with a history and physical done by a doctor to determine why his Creatinine is at 3.57 and determine what further treatments will keep him form worsening.
