Depends on cause of: Husband's kidney failure. Some conditions like autosomal dominant (or adult type) polycycystic renal disease can be inherited by 50% of his offspring. Fortunately, most other causes of kidney failurure are not passed on. Consult with your husband's kidney dr. , he/she can advise you. Good luck.
