When you "started a new pack", you are essentially taking a "Plan B" variant, and this may prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, but it is not 100% effective. The "placebo interval " seven days between the end of one pack and the start of another. Ovulation can take place in the example provided in your question, but there is no need to take Plan B.
