A member asked:

When laying down my heart rate is approx 80 bpm and then when i stand it goes to around 140 bpm. it stays fast for about 2 minutes or so, causes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common occurance: The sudden change form horizontal to vertical position usually cause acceleration of the heart's beat. Since you are using a Holter monitor I assume your Dr. is monitoring your heart's function. Consult his/her opinion.
