Neck pain: Difficult to determine. The factors that cause the pain to recur include the severity of the offending problem and whether the work/sport that you are participating in is contributing to the neck pain. An MRI of the cervical spine will better define the problem and provide a prognosis for recovery and the possibility of recurrence. Discuss with a spine specialist.
