Why would my clomid (clomiphene) dosage be uped (from 25mg to 50mg) if the lower dose succeeded at ovulation? will i ovulate earlier in my cycle?

Just guessing: usually you do not up CC dose if reliable ovulations happen; on the other hand 25 mg is below the usual starting dose of 50. Some docs will up CC dose after a first cycle "just because" - you need to ask your doctor what the reason was.
