It very well could: Be musculoskeletal pain related to a strain of one of the intercostal muscles(muscles in between the ribs) or one of the back muscles. Though the pain could also be related to irritation of the lining of the lung - the so called pleura - and resultant "pleurisy/pleuritis". The only way to be sure is to be evaluated by a doctur, but your noted procedures suggest that you have already.
