See Podiatrist: Go see the foot doctor -- the Podiatrist. He/she can help you with this. I would expect any bruising damage to be long healed by now. Also, check your shoes for pressure during training, esp. downhills. Bring shoes with you to appointment. Good luck.

You should get an: xray. It is certainly plausible you fractured the bone and developed a bone spur or the like.
