Consider keeping apt: Physicians are human and may have opinions about certain sensitive topics such as abortion, circumcision, sex before marriage, etc. If you like your physician, hopefully you can get past this issue with him/her. It may be as simple as explaining that you felt uncomfortable with his reaction.

If this is your: regular physician & you plan to continue seeing him? I think from a medical standpoint, that it will be important for the provider to know. Whether or not the provider seemed judgmental, physicians need accurate information to be able to give you good medical care.
