Had k-wire removd 11 days ago and dr gave me a cortisoneinjection for what he said was unrelated tendinitis. pain is different & worse & hand is numb.

You need followup: Your did not say why you had a k-wire in place. You can develop an infection around a pin track that may not show up for a few days. Since pain is worse I think you need to call your doctor and have it checked out.
