Conventional antipsy: Loxapine is a conventional antipsychotic used to treat sx of schizophrenia. Please ask your prescribing physician or a pharmacist as to reason why it was prescribed.

Loxapine/ Loxitane: is an older typical antipsychotic medication. It was developed for treatment of Schizoprenia. I use newer medications. Frankly, I don't know of any peers that prescribe it anymore.
