Yes: If not dealing with a current attack, turkey sausage is fine. However, ensure that your diet has plenty of fiber and water in it to help soften and add bulk to stools. This will help them pass more easily.

I would not: Treatment of active diverticulitis includes appropriate antibiotics but also dietary modification. This would include what we call a low residue diet also known as a soft diet. You can search low residue diet and get excellent ideas about what to eat
