Many causes: Lump after injury can be hematoma which generally resolves or it can be subperiosteal hematoma generally over the shin which can calcify and become hard One can have damage of the Fascia of the muscle and muscle herniation which will be a soft lump most likely that muscle herniation is the reason for the lump below the previous one Get it checked by your doctor to be sure Good luck
