Absolutely yes.: What you're describing is what physicians call "tenderness to palpation." This is pain or discomfort caused by pressing down on the painful area. The bowel is very sensitive to pressure and stretching and if you're seriously corked up, you're essentially pressing your abdomen between a rock and a hard place.
