Deep vein thrombosis: Is the problem I would be most concerned about and can be easily diagnosed now by an ultrasound of your leg! If left untreated could cause a life threatening problem called pulmonary embolus! Or in other terms, a blood clot could form in your leg which could break loose and travel up your veins into your lung, this could be life threatening! Seek medical attention immediately

Most can be helped.: Unna boots commonly used to treat venous insufficiency, meaning blood isn't carried from legs to heart as well. Can look just like "cellulitis." Recurrent "cellulitis" often reflects vein problems. Ultrasound w reflux studies shows this problem. Many vein problems easily fixed in Dr. office with local anesthesia minor procedure, very little risk, long term improvement. Hope this helps.

Calf Pain 6 Wks.: Testing for Factor Five Leiden, MHTR (heterozygous and homozygous may provide valuable information. Consider prolonged sedentary behavior. Get "pain in right calf" evaluated to by ultrasound, blood tests. The possibility of deep venous thrombosis/embolism ought be explored. The Unna Boot is a localized treatment, when there can be systemic conditions. See your doc
