It happens...: Teens and young adults do get colon cancer, but over 90% of all cases occur in adults over 50 years of age.

Very low: They are very low unless there is an underlying issue such as Lynch syndrome (hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer) or Familial adenomatous polyposis (although most colon cancers with this occur in the mid-20s through 39). In general >90% of colon cancer occurs after 50 years old.
