Not often: Although it's possible, it's unlikely. A study i just read sited of people ages 20-49 about 8.4/100, 000. Keep in mind that includes the range of ages. If you have family with colon cancer at a young age, that would increase your risk....And you would not be in the 8.5/100, 00.
