Not likely: In tension type headache the pain is of mild or moderate intensity, bilateral in location, and does not worsen with routine physical activity. In migraine, cluster and paroxysmal headache pain is on one sided and in many cases behind one eye. See orofacial pain or headache specialist for evaluation.

Unlikely: Tension headaches tend to be diffuse and have a pressure-like quality. Cluster headaches are typically sharp, unilateral and affect the eye -- patients have described it as a "hot poker in the eye". Men are three times more likely to suffer from cluster headaches than women. Attacks often occur at night while asleep. Please see a neurologist who is experienced with headaches.
