may be better choices for you: Usually a problem on tendons in patients under 18 years old. But with a history of tendinitis probably best to have another antibiotic. It also depends on why the antibiotic is given.

Depends: On why your doctor chose ciprofloxin for your infection. Tendonopathy is a possible result from quinolone use but extremely rare. Ask your doctor if there is another antibiotic that could work for your problem without this risk if you are concerned. All medications have risks and possible side effects.
