Hello. son is 4. two days ago presented with fever (100.5f) malaise. since then he has developed small red flat circular rash on buttocks primarily to a lesser degree on back, a bit around nose.

Rash: If rash occiurred after the fever subsided- then this might possibky be roseola infantum; hoever, without photos or examination: impossible to diagnose.

Rash: There are many rashes that develop with illness, both viral and bacterial. Without an entire exam, of both the child and the rash; it is difficult to diagnose. Have the child seen.
