Colchicine: Colchicine, that I see listed in your meds, is alternatively used in higher than maintenance doses to control inflammation in gout attacks. Was the diagnosis made clinically or based on crystals seen on the aspirate? Talk to your treating doctor since is unusual for a gout attack to last so long.
