Check her out... : A 8-month female baby with smelly urine + fever should get an urgent check-out to make sure of no UTI although she might have had recurrent URI / wheezing with possible otitis media. If UTI is confirmed, she would need imaging studies to confirm no obstruction along the whole urinary tract as well as no vesicoureteral reflux besides checking her bladder emptying ability, etc. Best wish...
