Scars: Start with topical silicone sheeting you can get on the internet to help flatten scar. Consider injections of kenalog (triamcinolone) to flatten if scare is thickened, and topical agents like neocutis biogel help as well. I offer laser treatments for my patients too. The earlier you treat a scar, the better the results

Lip scar topical tre: lip scars tens to take much longer than other areas on the skin to settle down. massage, sun avoidance and topical steroid cream would be first line of treatment. don't ingest the silicone. make sure the key line between the pink of the lip and skin is lined up correctly.
