Concur w/Dr. Raboubi: I would like to add a detail that may be important to this question. I agree with Dr. Raboubi that constipation in and of itself should not cause fainting spells but the straining on the toilet that a patient is inclined to do very well could cause such problems and even worse so be aware of this...and that would even be in a patient without M.S. Talk to your doctor on ways to avoid straining.
