I'm there to guide a patient, to help him work through things, but not to impose my life experiences. However, when there are safety issues, then these safety issues take precedence over everything else.

They have insight: Unfortunately they are not miracle workers and can never be "Right" 100% of the time. However, the role of a good psychologist is to give you the "tools" to guide through any issue that you might have. They are a valuable asset .
