See answer: If you only take 100mg a night, and take with some food (so as not to irritate your stomach or increase risk of inflammation), you should be fine. Overuse/chronic use of any nsaid may eventually cause kidney issues. This would be less common for a 100mg a day dose. Make sure you see the Dr. regularly and get routine tests (to include your renal function). Best wishes.

Good 4 u!: There are risks with NSAID's long term but more commonly at high doses. Have your kidney function checked annually at your physical. Tylenol (acetaminophen) would be a little safer but likely may not provide you with the same level of relief.

Some people have: problems with NSAID's. Retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Can try warm milk, Chamomile tea or melatonin along w light reading or warm bath.

Well...: This is a low dose of Ibuprofen... Should really not be taken daily for sleep. You can try 25 mg of benadryl, (diphenhydramine) but I would talk to your Dr.
