Sinus pain: There is a sinus in your forehead and there can be feelings of pressure and soreness when the sinuses are inflamed.

Sinus symptoms: Sinus pressure may be a cause of discomfort over the eye, but not usually in the temple region. More common causes of that would be muscle contraction or nerve irritation; inflammation of an artery is another cause. IF symptoms persist, see your physician.
