May be referred pain: Left-sided pain with chest pressure indicates you need to be seen emergently to rule out any possible cardiac issues, even if you are young. Once this is ruled out, then you can look from musculoskeletal causes or other types of referred pain patterns that may be happening myofascially. If your physical exam is negative, and your lab results are normal, then you should be followed by your PCP.
