DTAP VACCINE: Do you mean how long does the immunity last.Dtap vaccine is givento babies at 2, 4.6.15 months and a booster between 4 to 6 years that is a of series of 5 shots. Then at age 11 years we give a different combinatuin of the tetanus, diptheria and pertuses, and then a booster is needed every 10 years of tdap.If a child is properly immunised in childhood then it lasts for ten years and you need a booster.

Depends: If the patient has never received a dose, or is an infant with an immature immune system, the benefit of a single dose is variable.Months for the infant, and maybe a year or so for the adult. If a person (any age) has completed the primary series of childhood doses, the booster lasts 5-10 yrs.
