See OFP specialist: Referral pain also called heterotopic pain. Having a sore jaw on one side is usually because of a jaw condition called TMJ syndrome with muscles involvement. Heterotopic pain, a general term used to designate pain perceived by the patient in an area other than its true site of origin (e.g. tooth). See orofacial pain specialist for TMJ diagnosis.

Pain: Are you being treated for a sinus infection? Have you taken any medications or antibiotics? It is impossible to tell you whether this is a sinus, tooth , or TMJ problem. Your primary care doctor or an ENT can examine you sinus. If it is not sinus then se a dentist to evaluate TMJ and tooth.
