Hip joint pain: You were given a symptom, not a diagnosis. Why do you have hip pain is a different question. Many causes, most common in your age would be osteoarthritis. See your primary doctor for a more thorough analysis. He/She will direct you to an orthopedic consultant if necessary. Good luck.
