At the end of may i was admitted to hospital with pnuemonia. i have since recovered but this morning i coughed up blue phlegm. it stuck to my tongue.

This is unusual: You should consult your doctor in regards to this, as blue sputum is quite unusual. It either means you have inhaled/swallowed something that is coloring your sputum blue, as in blue dye. Alternatively, you could have a bacteria known as Pseudomonas which can produce a blue color to your sputum.
