Be patient: Making a crown its a enamel removal, so dentin its exposed, and so sensitivity could be bigger. Sensitivity or mild pain over a couple weeks during a "healing phase" isn't that uncommon. Most teeth will have reversible pulpitis after a crown preparation. OTC NSAIDs will be helpful for acute pain management. Hope it helps.

Other reasons: The pain may not be coming from the teeth as well. if your dentist checked the temporaries and found nothing wrong with no inflammation you may need to ask for a second opinion such an Endodontist before you get the final crown, he may detect other issues such as possible cracks in the root of the teeth. You may need to see an Ear Nose specialist as well for possible ear infection.
