More info needed: The symptom you describe is too vague to say if it might be due too UTI. Symptoms of UTI include urinary frequency, burning urination, pain over the bladder area. Flank pain may or may not be part of the picture. Best to see your doctor for examination and appropriate tests.

Yes.: Multiple, recurrent uti's can lead to kidney disease, even kidney failure. Must be evaluated by urologist. Could be a problem, in ascending order from where the urine leaves the body, with the urethra, the urinary bladder, the kidneys. Your age, I am presuming u r female, is an important factor. Some women have a bout of cystitis / UTI after sex. There are effective ways of rx. See a gyn and a uro.

Yes: The act of sex can push bacteria into the urethra triggering an infection. It's a good idea to drink plenty of fluids around the time of sex so you can urinate after and expell bacteria.

Not much: Uti is a bacteridl infection requiring prescription strenth antibiotics. Cranberry juice cn sometimes help prevent but once you have an infection most likely you would need antibiotics.
