EpisodicTension Type: Headache. More muscle tenderness has been found in patients with episodic TTH than in non-headache controls. However, it is not unusual for patients with TTH to experience sinus pain stubbing pain in the temples. See an orofacial pain or headache specialist for evaluation and treatment.
