Well...: It isn't horrible, but pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) contains salicylate (aspirin) so you can get ringing of your ears, vertigo. Long term use also can make your tongue black and your stools grayish black. (It goes away when you stop taking it) I'm more concerned about why you need to take it for 5 days. Pepto is really for a short term illness, not long term use. It may be time to see a doctor.
