Unique instructions: A patient a few years back had told me about her amlodipine casuing her throat to burn immediately after swallowing. I researched this adverse reaction and came up with out any evidence of the irritation being related to the medication. However, I did advise her not to lie down after taking the medication due to possibility of reflux.
