Varies: Every person will metabolize medications at different rates. In general, hydrocodone levels are not monitored. A patient's response will be measured subjectively using a 10 point pain scale; 0- no pain to 10- worst pain of your life. Usually toxicology screenings will just detect if the drug is present within the blood stream.
