More narcotic: The 1st number is the milligrams of the actual narcotic. The second is the Acetaminophen content . Remember to limit your Acetaminophen dose to 2000 mg /day. That is why we sometimes prescribe a higher narcotic content so less pills are taken over 24 hrs.

Different: The first number is the amount of hydrocodone, the second is the amount of Acetaminophen (tylenol).
