Hi my daughter was having problems with a stuffy nose sometime. she was giving amoxcillin for tonsils after taken med no more stuffy nose what happen.

Viral infection: Chances are the antibiotic that was given for the tonsillitis has nothing to do with the stuffy nose. Your daughter got better despite and not because of the treatment. The stuffy nose was most likely rhinitis caused by a virus.
