What is the difference between fasciculations and twitches? i've read benign fasciculations doesn't occour in the tongue, so what are thoose twitches?

Various causes: Several different causes of fasciculations on the tongue are seen. First, one must be able to truly distinguish what is a tongue "fasic" from some other movement of the tongue itself. However, some causes of tongue fasics include infectious, neoplasms, motor neuron disease, and muscular dystrophy types. A well trained physician or neurologist can help identify what's going on and how to manage.

See your MD, or neur: You are not talking about minor issues. Particularly, in the context of psychoactive drugs (abilify (aripiprazole) and paroxetine) a movement disorder can represent important or serious problems. Changing or discontinuing drugs may be necessary, but that is not something you should do on your own. See the doctor who is prescribing your meds and if that isn't helpful see a neurologist for evaluation, soon.
