Thyroid levels: I'm assuming the "thyroid level" was TSH, which is the pituitary hormone that controls the thyroid. Several reasons. First, the assay may have just been "off". It happens, and fortunately your doc repeated it. It is also possible that you had a transient thyroiditis which then resolved itself. Are you at risk for thyroid problems (family history)? Do you have symptoms? F/u with your doctor.
