Not clear: There are many reasons for telangiectasias to appear. Mostly the mechanisms are hormonal based or inflammation/autoimmune related. I would strongly encourage you to see your primary care doctor sooner rather than later. The "bursting" may very well represent the fragile nature of those blood vessels. Best of luck.
