Calf pain: Pain behind the knee on walking, if not due to a strain, could be due to an inflammed muscle or tendon. Less likely would be a vein inflammation(phlebitis) or cyst. Numbness in the toes could be from a pinched nerve . See an orthopedic surgeon if symptoms persist or worsen. Cold or heat applications,liniment and, if you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen rMay help.
