To consider..: Sounds like it could be a varicocele, which is caused by dilation of some of the veins that flow to the testicles. Left varicoceles are more common, as you report. They tend to be more noticeable when standing and are less noticeable when laying down.Is this true for you? They can cause shrinking of the testicle as well as be a cause for infertility.You may want to have your doc examine to be sure
