A member asked:

If i had all childhood tetanus shots and i had my 6th dose being tdap 8 years ago, can i still get tetanus from a cut? i'm 19 years old.

Probably not: A simple cut is not likely to produce tetanus and you probably have more than adequate antibodies from the immunizations you have received.

Unlikely: Tetanus booster covers you for up to 10 years, but update is recommended in 5 years in case of a dirty wound. Keep in mind that no vaccine is 100%
