A member asked:

Sometimes a feeling of just bad homesickness will hit me out of no where, even if i'm at home with my parents. any ideas?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Homesickness: Homesickness is often a sign of anxiety, fear of separation, or feeling overwhelmed and wanting the protection of parents. It can happen to people of any age, and even to adults whose parents who have long since died. We all need to feel safe and protected, and sometimes cannot reassure ourselves that things will be all right. You might want to talk to a counselor if these feelings persist.
