Feeling of lightning jolt sensation on front side of thigh. no real pain, but electric shock feeling. has happened a few times recently. stiff back but not bad. any ideas what it could be?

Jolt like pain : Sounds like these symptoms stem from a problem in the nervous system. This is not common in my experience from most back problems. I wonder if this is meralgia paresthetica-a pinched nerve where the lower abdomen meets the top of the thigh. There are several other rare conditions that can be considered, like pelvic problems or some spinal conditions. See your doctor
