How elevated?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, GI lesions can raise alkaline phosphatase, but more common causes are disease in the liver and bone. It would be helpful for you to discuss it with your doctor.
