Asthma?: You may have asthma or hyperactive airway disease. Initially with asthma attacks pts get the urge to cough and get short of breathe. I would see either pulmonologist or asthma specialist because this is not something that you want to remain untreated. Most likely you will get an inhaler that dilated you airway relieving these symptoms. Definitely get this checked
